Mandshir Monastery
Ruins of a monastery in a forested valley on the south side of Bogd Khan mountain.
Once home to hundreds of monks, Mandshir (Manzushir) was destroyed in 1937; one temple has been restored as a museum. The valley is a pleasant starting point for hikes into the Bogd Khan reserve.
