Dariv Bakery

A landmark bakery café in Altai with excellent coffee and homemade cakes and pies, a must-stop on the long western road.

Widely called the best café in Gobi-Altai, with a pastry kitchen at the back baking cakes and pies and friendly staff at the counter. There are Mongolian coffee-table books to browse while you rest.

Try the carrot cake, biscoff cheesecake or the sheep-milk apple pie with a cappuccino. Light meals such as pizza are also on offer.
