ROC Drink Bar (ROC Fountain)

Renovated drink bar from ROC, a Mongolian roaster that roasts its own beans, a few steps from the State Department Store. It serves coffee by day and drinks into the night.

ROC began as a local coffee shop with its own small roaster and has grown into one of Ulaanbaatar's homegrown coffee roasters, running several branches around the city. The Fountain branch near the State Department Store was recently renovated and reopened as the ROC Drink Bar, which runs from early morning until midnight.

It is a handy central stop for an espresso made with locally roasted beans while shopping on Peace Avenue, or for a later drink. ROC also sells its beans and coffee gear.
