Fairfield Café & Bakery
Long-running Western-style café and bakery in Tsetserleg, a classic stop for overland travellers wanting real espresso, fresh bread and a hearty breakfast.
Part of the Fairfield guesthouse, this café has been a fixture on the central Mongolia route for years and is one of the few places in the countryside pulling proper barista coffee. It works as a relaxed base between Kharkhorin and the Khövsgöl road, and the guesthouse team can help with onward travel and activities.
The kitchen bakes in-house every day: wholemeal and barley loaves, cinnamon rolls, doughnuts and chocolate cake. Breakfasts range from porridge and berry yoghurt to a full English, and lunch and dinner include their Aussie burger, lasagne, pizza, salads and soups alongside some Mongolian and Asian dishes.
