Sükhbaatar Square

Ulaanbaatar's main square, in front of the Government Palace and a giant seated Chinggis Khaan.

The heart of the capital, used for celebrations and the Naadam parade. The Government Palace on the north side is fronted by a large statue of Chinggis Khaan; museums, the opera house and many hotels are within walking distance.
